Well, still a bitter gun-owner, clinging to my religion. Or is it a bitter religious nut, clinging to my guns?

Buddhism teaches us that "change" is... well, it just is. Despite our passive reputation, Buddhism has quite a proud tradition of resistance to tyranny. Unfortunately, this resistance usually takes the form of high-profile self-immolation, which end does not particularly appeal to me. Maybe I'll start with a few outraged letters to the editor and gradually work up to the whole douse-myself-with-gasoline thing.

Bernard,

I'm glad you're hanging in there. I'm not so sure *all* of your co-bloggers are thrilled.

Well, Charlie, Henry, and Larry are presumably happy about the outcome. I'm not so sanguine. We had a vigorous discussion via email yesterday but I kept it off the blog because I didn't want to upset anybody.
